It was a really good first week with the new daycare kiddos. I was actually anticipating a much rougher adjustment then what really happened. Maybe that's why it seemed like such a good week.
Austin and Justin were very accepting of the routines a rules of the house. By Wednesday most of the kinks were worked out and everyone was playing well. Charlie has connected with Justin and they spend a lot of time playing together. Austin sometimes finds it a little difficult because I think he is used to playing and controlling the play with Justin but he's handling it. Even when Tessa was here things went smoothly.
We were able to work on Flag Day activities the 1st half of the week and then Father's Day cards and gifts on Thursday and Friday.
Because everyone adjusted so well I think we will be able to start themed curriculum sooner than planned.

- I'm a mother of 3, step-mom to 2, and Grammy to 2. We're the living "yours, mine, and ours" but we are 1 great big happy family (most of the time). I have 2 college girls and 1 little boy who is 2. My husband has 2 girls out in the working world and of course the grandkids. Many years ago I was a SAHM and ran a home daycare while my older children were young. Now that their little brother is around, I'm doing it all again. Crazy, I know. Somedays I think I'm getting to old, but then I start playing trains, painting pictures and dancing with the Wiggles and I realize I still got it ... LOL
